I ordered a mirror for an older Land Cruiser and mailed to a friend after I painted it. She said it looked identical. Getting the proper primer, basecoat and clearcoat from an online touch-up paint store, cost twice what the mirror costs but it matched well. It would have been cheaper to replace both mirrors and leave them as black, but the painted mirror looks very nice. Painting a mirror is a bit of work with the sanding that has to be done before and after paint coats. Watch a few videos to educate yourself on the painting process for automotive paints.
