Replaced belt at recommendation of dealer - said old belt was cracked. I bit my tongue, as cracks were superficial and across ribs, because I wanted to keep warranty claims straightforward.
Belt was difficult to install, but it wasn't the belts fault - VW put coolant lines right in way. Slender fingers, so could ease belt into position.
Belt is quiet, fit well, but performance and reliability will be proven over the next few years.
