Hello! These should be a direct replacement for the original glass. Sometimes it can help to move the adjuster all the way to one side so you have access/visibility to the clips. You may be able to encorage the clips with a small screwdriver or pick.

The mirror glass will come with a backing plate that connects to the motor and housing of the original side mirror.
