This part is guaranteed to fit the 1986 Toyota Pickup. This item does not come with installation hardware (clips). We suggest getting those locally through a local auto supply store.

my truck has plastic clips that snap into the handle and then the rods slide into those, then the plastic clip rotates to lock onto the rod.
