Question: Can it be rekeyed to fit orig keys?Bob P. / Dec 04, 2021 / 1985 Toyota PickupStandard Oe Replacement Ignition Lock Cylinder
Hi Bob, I'm glad to assist you. No, this cannot be re-keyed. You have to use the included keys for this aftermarket ignition lock cylinder. This is a coded ignition lock cylinder. It has the correct key code inside of the key cylinder that will match your car key (and a un coded lock cylinder has to be coded to the car key specifically). Most of the new key cylinders can be coded to the original key by a local lock smith in your area. The cost is around $30 to have them do this. Grab our sale price offer and click the link below to order today. I hope this helps. Happy shopping. https://www.carparts.com/ignition-lock-cylinder/standard/sius540l?can=CPJE1043
