It’s a bad picture. Your key will fit. It just replaces the black plastic portion. You just use your original key insert.

I first removed the driver’s door instrument panel on the door. Easy to do. Then, I used panel tools(cheap purchase) and carefully worked my way around the door panel & then lifted it up and off. If memory serves me, a 10mm socket, out with the old and in with the new. Then, replace things in order. It really wasnt hard at all. Just stay ordered in your approach and you will do well. Be careful to not force anything, because force is not necessary.

Yes you have to remove the inner door panel. Two small screws on the inner handle, and I believe two other screws under two circular caps. Then slowly pry the inner door cover off. Took me 30 minutes to do the whole replacement.

Yes. There are plastic tabs that hold it into place. They break easily so be sure to use a trim removal tool.
