Exactly what I expected paint was not quite a match. However, my Tacoma is a 2012 so I didn’t expect it to be perfect. It did seem like the gloss coat was not comparable. since it was just the front grill I’m fine with it because I’m gonna end up wrapping it anyways. However, if it was an hood or a fender, I would not be happy with the color match.

It came apart but for a grill insert I had to use a sawzawl. Otherwise it won’t be held in properly. It was easy only took a few minutes

It’s one solid piece that snaps in quickly. Looks factory. Only the center of my grill broke but you have to swap out the whole thing.

The grill doesn't match the paint on the Tacoma. It's very close. The problem is after a few months in the sun, the grill begins to fade and that's when you really see the difference.

Hi Nate, I'm glad to assist you. This is assembled to be 1 piece, but checking the back portion carefully, it seems the insert is removable from the main frame or shell. But, you have to carefully prye it off or detach the insert without damaging it since it is either clipped or sealed together by some glue. And damaging the insert while trying to remove it would of course void the warranty. Still, please click the link below to order this part today once you are ready. I hope this helps. Happy shopping.

Yes you can remove the insert, just do so carefully so you don’t break any of the clips that hold it in.
