Hi James,
The difference is the leveling system. The headlight with leveling system has different system compared to the headlight without the leveling system that is why they are not interchangeable.

I would recommend contacting your local dealership with your VIN number if you are not sure about the options your vehicle came with.

Hi Rogger, I'm glad to help you out. You may need to adjust the beams of the headlights. There are mounting screws and adjustment screws above, below, and to the sides of the headlight. Park your vehicle 25 feet from a wall, and place a piece of tape horizontally 4 feet high across the wall in front of your vehicle. Turn the top adjustment screw clockwise to raise the beam and counterclockwise to lower the beam. Adjust the headlights until they shine on the tape. No, those are brand new original equipment aftermarket brand replacement with comparable quality as of the factory original. This has been engineered to be exactly like the OEM GM part, only much cheaper.
