I have Monroe quick struts in all of my vehicles and never had a problem untilthis year. Had noise from left front strut I put in my 05 Jetta TDI wagon18 months ago. When I checked I noticed extensive movement in upper strut bearing and spring top perch. Removed strut and the bearing balls fell out. Removed the rubber bushing and found the perch disc bent and worn out. Monroe replaces the this quickstrut without question under their lifetime warranty promise.
