Solid Replacement Mirror GlassPassenger Side Mirror Glass, Heated, No Blind Spot Feature, Backing Plate Included
Purchased to replace the mirror glass on my 2016 GTI. It was easy to install and looks great. Knocking off a star since when compared to the OEM mirror, the heating element density is much lower. Not a huge issue in my part of the world where the heated mirrors aren't utilized much but I figured it would be worth mentioning!

Question: I purchased the replacement side mirror for my 2013 VW Golf TDI. The wire connection on the new mirror is not orientated the same as the original mirror so it is not clear on the new mirror which connection is positive and which is negative. Does it matter which is which and if so can you tell me which is positive and negative? Since the new mirror’s wire orientation may differ, you can identify the correct polarity by checking the original mirror’s wiring or using a multimeter to measure voltage when the heating function is activated.
