Answered by Jeonino E. / Sun, Aug 08The Purge solenoid Is part of the Evap system of your vehicle. your fuel tank is pressurized slightly your purge solenoid purges built up fumes and pressure back to your engine and burns them up. Paul is right when saying it is Malfunctioning. It is Either stuck open or shut or infract leaking by.
