Be careful while reinstalling this piece. I made the rookie mistake and over tightened the part into the metal. This piece is tapered and I saw that but I did not know not to over tighten. Once you over tighten the piece it will break the seal on the front plate. I would rather the piece break but instead my simple replacement was now a dealer job. One the piece breaks on the block, the oil will squirt out once the car is turned on, no matter how much sealant you add. But the part is a perfect replacement and is actually on the car right now.
