I ordered the wrong partA/C Actuator

The blend door actuator works. It turned out not to be the right part for me though. My truck A/C is blowing through the defrost vents. I thought that was controlled by the blend door. It is controlled by the mode. I'm keeping this because on old cars it's nice to have a spare part already on hand. I'll have to order the mode actuator to fix my problem
