They are located under the dash along the fire wall. On my 03 silverado , one on the passenger , above the to the right of the center hump and not to bad to get to. the other is on drivers side on the right of the steering wheel and inside the lower dash . Very hard to get to and you must remove the dash and dash braces to reach it .

It did it for me. My Chevrolet Alvanche was blowing hot heat through the AC unit. After I installed the actuator. My problem stop air begins to work like it should and that was it.

Hi Joe, probably not, the HVAC actuator controls which vent the air flows through, sounds like you may have another issue

Usually once this starts to happen, especially if it’s a GM truck, the heater control head/module have went bad.
