Compressor works great but in the installation guide in the box in very fine print easy to miss it says do not use an oil based flush when installing .. most over the counter flushes are oil based.

Hi Logan, I'm glad to assist you. Yes, it is. The a/c compressor comes with lubricant oil. It is for lubrication of the compressor's moving mechanical parts. But, manufacturers recommend that you drain the "shipping oil" and refill it with "proper oil" (PAG oil) ahead of installation. The other purpose of the added oil is to protect the compressor during its stay on the dealer's shelves, retailers' stores, and in the course of transport. Grab our sale price with 25% off already.
