Compressor works great but in the installation guide in the box in very fine print easy to miss it says do not use an oil based flush when installing .. most over the counter flushes are oil based.

According to GPD, if the part # starts with 651****, then it would be prefilled with oil.

Hi Daniel, I'm glad to assist you. Yes, it is pre-filled with a certain amount of oil. But manufacturers recommend that you drain the "shipping oil" and refill with the "proper PAG oil" amount upon installation. The other purpose of the added oil is to protect the compressor during its stay on the dealer's shelves, retailers' stores, and in the course of transport.
