Question: Is this a fixed or vardisplacement compressor?Randy D. / Mar 12, 2023

Hi Randy, I'm glad to assist you. A fixed-speed compressor not only has a bigger startup surge, but it is also going to draw the same amount of energy no matter the compressed air output demand. A variable-speed machine will lower its RPMs when less output is needed and ramp them up when more is required. We do not have any info if this a/c compressor is a fixed or a variable displacement type. We will get back to you and send an updated email about it. I hope this helps for now.
