Bought a 2004 RX-8 with 6200 miles in 2009. Noticed a problem with acceleration right away and was getting terrible gas mileage. It took me awhile to pinpoint the original filter as the problem. Put the K&N filter in and enjoyed an immediate improvement in acceleration and gas mileage. Plus it added a nice little growl.
