After I installed the K&N air filter I have noted about a 5% increase on the highway mileage MGP. I cannot confirm any noticeable improvement in the in town MPG. I do believe purchase will more than offset the higher cost especially if cleaning the filter in lieu of replaceing it works. Time and miles will tell. Easy to install and comforting to know that using K&M air filter will not void factory warantee.
