Question: Gm I purchase a air intake hose for my 1999infiniti g20 and took it to my machine and he sad he couldn't use it. It says it fits my car but he couldn't use it.. I purchase the same one shown here in the picture. Is there any reason why it couldn't be use?Ricky F. / Nov 20, 2021

Answered by Andrew B. / Sat, Nov 20For me my g20 original intake hose had more smaller hookup lines and the connection at the air filter box is smaller where the new intake was wider so I tried to use part of the older smaller hose I cut and fit inside the new hose to makeup the gap and clamped together on ther filter side cause you cannot have any leaks or the sensors wil confuse the computer and the car won’t run right you need the exact parts I don’t know why infinity don’t sell that correct part
