So the part i ordered became defective within a year; during my emissions (inspection) I was told I have to replace the part. I was frustrated because by the time I called about the replacement part - it was maybe 5-7 days past the one year warranty policy. I explained this to the representative on the phone who escalated the issue and I was able to get another part. The part has been on my car for a couple of weeks now and theres been no check engine light yet. I shipped back the old part and found the whole process smooth.

Hello – On this particular air pump, the port appears to be fixed. Before ordering, double-check that your pump has the same, 90-degree port design.

Answered by Mia B. / Wed, Apr 15Ports are fixed. Was able to use existing hoses. Make sure check valve on top of engine has no water in it. Had to replace both at same time
