So the part i ordered became defective within a year; during my emissions (inspection) I was told I have to replace the part. I was frustrated because by the time I called about the replacement part - it was maybe 5-7 days past the one year warranty policy. I explained this to the representative on the phone who escalated the issue and I was able to get another part. The part has been on my car for a couple of weeks now and theres been no check engine light yet. I shipped back the old part and found the whole process smooth.

This part is guaranteed to fit the 2004 Volkswagen Jetta GLI, GLS, and GL 4 Cyl 1.8L Up to Chassis # 8DY100000. You may call your local dealership with the VIN number and ask them if it matches the chassis number.
For the bolts, you may add to ask the bolt specifications to the dealership. We suggest getting those locally through a local auto supply store or the dealership.
