Don't Waste Your Money!!!!Alternator, 3.2L, 6Cyl, 75 Amp, Remanufactured, Qb Premium
1.0/5
Please learn from my mistake- all alternators are not created equally. Having paid the labor to have the first of these alternators installed only to go bad four months later then paying the labor to have the "free" replacement go bad six months later, I initially thought it must be something other than the alternator. WRONG. These rebuilt, aftermarket alternators are built with sub-standard materials that have a much higher failure rate because the overseas materials they use cannot handle the daily use. After learning that the APW warranty only covered one replacement alternator, I found a local shop that rebuilds OEM alternators and does it right for a fraction of the cost and with a full two year warranty. Once the local shop owner educated me on the pitfalls of these bargain alternators I understood my mistake in thinking I was going to get a deal. Do yourself a huge favor and have your OEM alternator rebuilt yourself from a reputable local shop. Alternatively, spend the extra money and buy a new OEM unit.
