Question: I have a 98 dodge ram 1500 5.2 & I recently bought some new flood lights & I thought it might be better to step up my alternator from a 90amp up to a 130amp will it fit the same as my old one ?Tommy B. / Jan 17, 2021

Yes, this upgrade from 90 amp to 136amp is fine, as long as it is direct fit for your 6 or 8 cylinder for your given vehicle application. Please consult with your owner's manual or a trusted vehicle specific repair manual brand. Still, it is best to consult with your local trusted auto repair shop.
