Installed fairly well. Ran in no problems putting it in.
Had it in place in less then an hour and I'm 76 years old.. Seems to be working just fine, but only time will tell.. I like that it's 136 amp and not just the OME 90 amp an only costing a few bucks more for a new and not rebuilt..

The Quality-Built 13742N Alternator is new and has a great appearance. Even better it fit perfectly to replace the Denso 56027913 136amp in my 1996 Jeep grand Cherokee ltd 5.2L. My 1996 Jeep grand Cherokee ltd 5.2L seems to be one of the few that was built with the Denso 56027913 136amp Alternator which are currently rare. Most sellers say a 136 amp is not a fit for the 1996 ZJ. However, my 1996 ZJ had the original Denso 56027913 136 amp alt. Now the The Quality-Built 13742N Alternator has replaced it and is working fine. The instructions with The Quality-Built 13742N Alternator are good. The tech note about how to test whether or not the alternator was working or not is informative but was not used in my case. An Auto electrical specialist use an electronic device to report how the 13742N Alternator was working. The report from the device showed how the 13742N Alternator working fine !

This alternator is the exact fit. It looks right, fits right, and works right. I would have no problem buying again, or installing on my truck. I do recommend buying a new part and checking the reference of other buyers. This company checks out as good to do business with.
