Question: It's the transmission selonoid the same as the tcc selonoid. Are they the same thing ? I say torque converter closed. When scanned with OBD scanner.Donnie S. / Apr 27, 2023
Hi Donnie, I'm glad to assist you. No, it isn't. An automatic transmission solenoid controls the flow of transmission fluid, which in turn governs the shifting of gears and other functions within the transmission. While the TCC solenoid is responsible for engaging and disengaging the torque converter clutch, which is a mechanism that connects the engine's output to the transmission input. I hope this helps, and happy shopping.

Question: Is this the TCC solenoid ?Jose P. / Feb 01, 2022
Hi Jose, I'm glad to assist you. No, the TCC is a transmission torque converter clutch. This automatic transmission solenoid is not the same as the TCC. A transmission solenoid or cylinoid is an electro-hydraulic valve that controls fluid flow into and throughout an automatic transmission. We do not carry the TCC, unfortunately. But, if you need this solenoid. Grab our sale price offer and click the link to order today. I hope this helps.
