Question: Will this solenoid fix my hard shifting? Only happens when I'm going into second gear mostlyRYDERZ4LIFE / Apr 02, 2021
Hi Robin, I'm glad to help you out. There is a possibility, a defective solenoid can cause a lack of pressure, resulting in a hard, soft, or delayed shifting. It can also cause transmission slippage, where your engine revs faster, but the car stays at the same speed. Though these are the common signs, we would still advise you to consult a mechanic before deciding to change the solenoid to make sure if it's the part that is needed to be changed. I hope this helps. Happy shopping.
