Question: I bought upper ball joint and the boot didn’t fit to go through the knuckle so I took off for installation. Now I can’t get the boot to fit back on to seal the joint.  Is there a special method to get the boot to seat onto the ball joint?Hilding H. / Jul 03, 2022
Hi Cslvin, thank you for reaching out. We highly suggest that you refer to a vehicle repair manual for the installation guide. Have a great day.

I take the ring off and use 2 slot screw drivers to work the boot back up the bolt. No much for advice, but it works.

Question: What’s the diameter of the ball joint’s stud?Floyd W. / Aug 19, 2024
Hi Floyd, I'm glad to assist you. We do not show the dimensions of the part since it is a direct-fit vehicle-specific part. You just need to provide the year, make, model, submodel, 2WD/4WD, and engine size for us to confirm fitment. It is best to call our parts specialist (for real-time live & immediate assistance) on our toll-free number, 1-866-529-0412 (Mon to Sun).
