Question: Does this fan need weights when its turned on so it doesnt rattle or make noise and vibrate?Holliee W. / Jan 07, 2022
Hi Holliee, I'm pleased to assist you. There could be something off-balance within your blower, causing the fan to make vibrating sounds when it spins. Other causes of vibration would include mechanical looseness, coupling misalignment, the insufficient flatness of bearing mounting surfaces, isolators, and v-belt slippage. Check the fan and motor for signs of dust or debris build-up or any other kind of obstruction and clear it away to see if the problem has been solved. I hope this is helpful. Have a wonderful day.

Answered by Grace G. / Fri, Jan 07I couldn't be 100% on my answer of NO, because I found another problem that requires a special part from the dealership that is very expensive. So I haven't tested the new blower yet. But I really don't think you need any weights. It should be Plug and play.
