I install the RED stuff in my friend Lexus IS250. Within a week the brake start to vibrate during high speed braking around 60-70 mph. I thought it was my brand new rotor but it turn out to be the this brake pad. It caused many black burn marks on the rotor. These burn marks caused the brake to vibrate during high speed braking. I replace this pad with Lexus OEM low dust pad and clean away the burn marks on the rotor and the vibration disappear. Don't get me wrong, this pad would be great pad for motor crossing. It stop the car right on at slow speed. For day to day driving, it extremely annoying to feel the vibration at 60-70mph level...

I've put about 4000 miles on these pads on highway and city streets. They have SERIOUS stopping power when it matters. You're not going to go wrong with these if you're a spirited type of driver. I'd be curious to see how green stuffs compare to this just on a cost/performance basis, but red stuff performs well in all driving conditions and is worth the money. You'll notice some serious bed in noise for the first few hundred miles. After that they won't squeal or exibit much grinding noise. There will be some noise, but come on, dudes. If you're driving a sports car are you caring about brake noise?? I personally like a pad that has a little sound to it. Combine these with EBC rotors and you really can't go wrong on a street car.

Amazing brake pads. The coating allowed the shortest break-in period I've ever experienced. The coating did close the sensor installation hole slightly so the holes had to be drilled to allow installation of the sensors. Not a problem. I'll use these pads onmy other car too.

The pads went on well. After going through the break in procedure, the brakes were quiet. However, the next day, they were noisy to the point of embarrassment. The box says that there is a 500 mile break in period. While the noisy has lessened, it's still there.

These are great pads if you want a performace pad. They have a nice feel that is similiar to race compund pads. They also sound like race pads during the break in period. This was ~600 miles for me.
