They come with a break in coating on them which I think is a great idea.They perform nicely better or as good as high dollar pads.They have been on the car for 3 weeks.Time will tell how they wear and perform as they age.If anyone knows about subarus ,they like to eat pads no matter how you drive.But so far I am very satisfied.
