Don't know the life of the socket but looks good so far. Didn't know 2 came in a packet so ordered two now have to eat the shipping to send back the unused sockets.

This product is small and simple but absolutely essential to the operation of any car or truck. Color coded wires make it simple to attach and the interior/exterior fit is perfect. Older plastic parts begin to degrade and fail over time. Being able to replace them yourself save a lot of cash!
