Question: My bumper was shipped folded in the box I have pictures and videos, the bumper has a bend in it now. Can you please explain?Mathew D. / Nov 03, 2022
Hi Mathew, I'm glad to be of assistance to you. Folding our bumper covers, as Ronald mentioned, allows us to help our customers save money on shipping costs. Because they are made of shape-memory plastic, they will unfold into their proper shape once properly warmed up. To learn more about unfolding the bumper, follow the link below.https://www.carparts.com/blog/how-to-unfold-your-bumper-cover/ I hope this is helpful and we thank you for your purchase. Have a great day!

I live in northern California so when i got my bumper the weather was nice and warm. I pulled it out the box and set it on the ground in the sun for a few hours and it relaxed into its formed shape. If your able to warm a room up or a garage just let it set for a few hours and it should take the bend out.Maybe take a hair dryer and go over the bend and see what happens but do not stay in one spot too long go around the area and see what happen...Good luck hope it works out for you

Because it is plastic you will need to put it out in the sun, unfolded. Leave it in the sun as long as possible before trying to install it.
