Hi Josue, thank you for reaching out. You do not have to mold the bumper cover itself. It is manufactured to fit as a direct replacement. However, because it is primed, you will need to have it professionally painted to match your vehicle’s color before installation for a finished appearance. The bumper cover and fender are ready to be installed after painting but do not require molding or additional bodywork for fitment. Hi Wade, thanks for initiating contact. No, it will not go over your chrome bumper. This is a plastic bumper, not made of chrome or steel. This is the actual plastic bumper itself and the old plastic bumper will need to be removed to be able to install this new one.
