The shape was not the same as the original. The general fit was ok but the holes for the balance did not line up. I had to drill new holes. They were about 3/4 inch off.

It can be painted.. My boyfriend bought it for his car and the texture is not noticable at it has like a flat finish on it.. At first glance you would never know it has a texture on it
