Question: Mine on Rogue 2018 SL is broken, can I buy this one? Is this something I can replace myself? is it just to clip it on the bumper or is there any other mechanism to attach it? ThxTomas C. / Jan 06, 2021
Hi Tomas,
This part is guaranteed to fit the 2018 Nissan Rogue SL 4 Cyl 2.5L. Since you are replacing the trim piece, you could pry out the old one with a very small flat screwdriver and placing a cloth on the bumper to protect it. The trim piece has multiple clicks in pieces and one extension that slides in a grove at one end. Simply read the service manual and you will be fine.

Answered by Grace G. / Wed, Jan 06There are two threaded studs on the outer ends of the part. Nuts have to be removed from the old part tho remove it and reattached to the new part. The part also has snap in studs along its length that have to be aligned to their holes in the bumper. Accessing the nuts for removal is a challenge and things can go wrong with the plastic makeup of the part. Unless you and a buddy who knows what he’s doing takes it slow, you’ll be ordering another part. A body man would say, piece of cake. I am not that guy.
