I did not install the bumper. One of my employess wrecked a neighbors front bumper so the neighbor installed it. I think the brackets are designed ro hide the bolts from tbe outsude of the bumper. :)

Yes. The 2001-2006 Chevrolet Tahoe LS models came with a 3-piece front end. The top plastic bumper filler, this center chrome-plated steel bumper, and the plastic lower valance.

Yes it will fit, your bumper actually has three main parts in addition to the mounting brackets. Chevy bumpers are made up of three main parts #1 the bumper itself either chrome or painted, #2 the valence which is below the main bumper and #3 I'm not sure what the correct name is for the piece on top it is either painted the color of the vehicle or its a textured piece that is black
