It seems like every shop I went into to have the oil & filter replaced on my 1998 Expeditio, they also asked if I wanted to have the cabin air filter replaced. I always said no. So when I finally got around to wanting to do it myself, I ordered this filter part per the fitment guide for this vehicle. It quickly arrived. Low price. Typical Motorcraft good quality.
But I soon found out that a 1998 Ford Expedition does NOT come equipped with a cabin air filter assembly. They were not offered by Ford for several years and are still not available in my $48G Ford pickup. Not sure why. So before you order a cabin air filter for your vehicle, crawl under the dash or under the hood and first make sure your vehicle model even came with one. JC Whitney was GREAT in product return.
