We have had ours for just over a year and it has worked well for us. We have pulled storage bins, trash bags and coolers with ours. The only thing I can say is, as long as the item you are trying to pull has a good area to hook on, it will work well. The storage bins we use it to grab are the hardest to pull because they don't have a great area to hook onto, however, we are still able to pull them forward and push them back with this cargo retriever. It has come in handy during the winter (New Hampshire) as our hard tonneau cover was frozen and we were unable to unfold the cover without having to smash all the ice off. I recommend this item.
