Hi Adrian, I'm glad to assist you. No. This is not legal for use in NY. As per checking, we do not carry the 50 state legal type of catalytic converter for your car. Still, you might be needing the oxygen sensor upstream and downstream location since most people would also replace that part along with the catalytic converter.
