I had already bought a Catco cat bat exhaust a couple years back, so going with the Catco Catalytic Coverter was a no brainer... I had more problems getting my old one off actually.
Make sure you buy three nuts and bolts/ 11/16 worked fine for me; the original hardware is fixed on the old converter.
So far so good. I haven't noticed any performance gains.
