I installed the davico catalytic converter on my 2002 Altima 3.5L. It came with a metal crush o-ring for the upper/manifold connection and a flat gasket for the lower y-pipe connection.
The upper fit was good. One of the two studs (that were actually welded on bolts not studs) had banged up threads.I repaired them with a file.
The lower fit was poor. The lower pipe was longer than the factory converter. It required a good deal of prying to get it bolted up. (the lower flange was not tapped to accept bolts like the original converter was) If the Altima hadn't had a flexible section on the y-pipe, I would have needed to cut and weld for sure.
