My vehicle was failing emissions and they wanted $900.00 bucks to buy and install a Catalytic converter so I ordered this one got it installed for a $100.00 bucks now I'm all good! Saved boohoo money, thanks APW!

Bought this for my 2007 CTS with a P0430 code.
Cadillac manual states that this is always a
catalytic converter code if thrown alone. As an
economical alternative to the OEM cat, I purchased
this. After resetting the on board computer
the car did not throw any codes and I went right
through inspection. Although I did not install this myself, the mechanic said there were no problems with the installation. He charged me for 1 1/2 hours
labor. Will see how long it lasts.

Great product for the price. Shipping waas within the time period promised and the additional gaskets and compression ring were included . Had to purchase the nuts for the welded bolts since originals did not fit the bolt size. Otherwise it was an easy installation.

Hi Dr. Daryl, I'm pleased to assist you. There are 2 catalytic converters on your 2006 Cadillac CTS 6 Cyl 2.8L. First, the emission label of the vehicle will have to be determined. Check the Vehicle Emission Control Information sticker usually found underneath the hood to check if it matches the emission control specifications. Federal emissions stickers will just say, "This vehicle conforms to U.S. EPA regulations". California emissions vehicles will state, "This vehicle conforms to U.S. EPA and State of California regulations". The best brands we can recommend are Magnaflow, Davico, Catco, Walker, and Evan Fischer. Email us back what the emission label is. We look forward to hearing from you. Have a good one.

Hi Warren,
This is for 2004-2007 Cadillac CTS Base 6 Cyl 3.6 that has Federal type emission. Please check the vehicle emission label usually found underneath the hood of the car to make sure the catalytic converter matches the car's Emission label specifications.
