I replaced my cat converter on my Jeep and the check engine light came on again. I emailed the supplier (Davico) and he was very helpful. He told me cat converters usually fail because something else is wrong. Sure enough. The diagnostic code said it was the converter, when actually it was the O2 sensor. The sensor caused the cat converter to fail, so I had to replace them as well. Everything is great now!
