The mechanic who you hired to install this probably did not even try to install it. I read review and all numbers matched to went ahead and ordered (thanks to Abigal in CP chat line). Part fit perfectly. Installed easier than expected and everything lined up perfectly. They included smaller diam metal gasket. Good move as standard Felpro gasket is larger. Only needed to purchase 3" muffler clamp and donut gasket for pass side. Will recommend - great part, delivery and customer service.

This was "guaranteed to fit" and my mechanic called me back within 1 hour of dropping off my car and this part to say that the part is obviously wrong. I wrote to CarParts about getting my money back but have not heard back from them yet.

Based on our records, the Catalytic Converter will fit a 2009 Chevrolet Tahoe, Illegal for installation in NY on vehicles equipped with California emission systems. can you please provide additional information what made the part wrong? I have processed the Return Merchandise Authorization and return instruction was sent via email. In a separate email, you will be receiving a return label that you can print and use for the return of the part.
Once the warehouse received and inspected the part, the refund will be processed within 24-48 business hours, but the posting will still depends with the bank.
