Fit was spot on. We had to do a little fiddling because a thief cut the pipe in odd spots. If a catalytic converter is ever needed again this will be my go to. Also great price and fast shipping.

Question: How do I find out in what state my vehicle was originally purchase if I purchased it in NY?Valencia, J. / Oct 10, 2024
Hi Johanna, I am pleased to assist you. By reviewing your title document, utilizing your VIN for a history report (e.g., CARFAX, AutoCheck), and contacting relevant parties such as previous owners or dealerships, you can effectively uncover the original state of purchase of your vehicle. If needed, reaching out to the DMV (Department of Motor Vehicles) in New York or the state you suspect may yield additional information.
Choosing the correct catalytic converter can be a bit challenging nowadays. Check the Vehicle Emission Control Information sticker, usually found underneath the hood, to see if it matches the emission control specifications. Federal emissions (48-state) stickers will simply say, "This vehicle conforms to U.S. EPA regulations," whereas California-emissions (50-state, CARB) vehicles will say, "This vehicle conforms to U.S. EPA and the State of California regulations."
I suggest calling our parts specialists at 1-866-529-0412 for assistance. Have a nice day!
