Fit was spot on. We had to do a little fiddling because a thief cut the pipe in odd spots. If a catalytic converter is ever needed again this will be my go to. Also great price and fast shipping.

Question: I have a 2008 Toyota RAV4 base , I have a check engine light on the the car has run 20,000 miles. The code on is P0420 . Do you think I need a new catalytic converter. Because the car has loss power and makes a popping noise when accelerating. And is this part a direct fit for my car?. Thank you.Majid A. / Jun 24, 2022
Hi Majid, I'm pleased to assist you. The code P0420 on your 2008 Toyota RAV4 Base suggests that the oxygen levels are below the desired threshold (Bank 1), We advise replacing the oxygen sensor first. Is the vehicle a 4 Cyl 2.4L or a 6 Cyl 3.5L? My recommendation for the oxygen below is for a 2.4L primary o2 sensor (Bank 1). Answered by Grace G. / Fri, Jun 24To help with your engine code readings, I use engine-codes dot com to help decipher what that exactly means. Normally, the factory cat-converter should last at least 100,000 miles or more before it needs replacing. If you bought the car or SUV used, you could very well need a new replacement. When it says "direct fit replacement", it should go on exactly as an original OEM part should. Hope this helps.
