Question: My car has turned on the check engine sign and the scanner shows code P0420 Catalyst System Low Efficiency. Will this item shuts off the check engine sign? The reason I am asking, is that Chevrolet dealer says only the genuine part would turn off the signal. Vehicle passed the yearly emission control inspection without any problem whatsoever, but still turns on the check engine signal.Eduardo E. / Feb 09, 2024
