Ordered for my 2001 4Runner with california emissions (2 cats). The flange has a pipe in the middle that exceeds and inserts into an opening on the headers. I believe that this piping sticks out too long, and caused a pretty gnarly gap between the flanges (OEM cats has a flush seal). The predrilled holes on the new Cat flange did not fit the header studs and caused some issues. Had to extend/widen all holes for it to even allow the studs to insert. 1 Week later and it is still holding up well. Pretty happy with the outcome, and some modifications are expected as it is a 25+ year old car.

It’s angled differently than the oem one and is touching the axel on top of that it doesn’t connect to the J pipe(y pipe flex pipe) whatever you wanna call it not sure why they claim it’s OE replacement when it doesn’t even fit?TJ S. / Jan 16, 2024
