Ordered for my 2001 4Runner with california emissions (2 cats). The flange has a pipe in the middle that exceeds and inserts into an opening on the headers. I believe that this piping sticks out too long, and caused a pretty gnarly gap between the flanges (OEM cats has a flush seal). The predrilled holes on the new Cat flange did not fit the header studs and caused some issues. Had to extend/widen all holes for it to even allow the studs to insert. 1 Week later and it is still holding up well. Pretty happy with the outcome, and some modifications are expected as it is a 25+ year old car.

Hi Ignacio, I'm pleased to assist you. This is a front Federal manifold catalytic converter compatible with the 2004 BMW 325i Base 6 Cyl 2.5L. If you need both, you'll also need the rear side. But before that, check the Vehicle Emission Control Information sticker usually found underneath the hood to check if it matches the emission control specifications. Federal emissions stickers will just say, "This vehicle conforms to U.S. EPA regulations". California emissions vehicles will state, "This vehicle conforms to U.S. EPA and State of California regulations". Hi Hamid,
Are you in California or outside of California? This catalytic converter is for vehicles with California emissions outside of CA. If you are in CA, then this will not pass, you have to get a 50 State Legal part (this is 47 State).

If you have a CA emissions car it will fit and operate, but you will no longer meet CA emissions standards and would be illegal to do if you live in CA. If (for example) you live in VA, and bought a car from CA, you could install it on that car that was built with CA emissions, for use in the 46 states where it is legal.
